Heimat

Heimat is a deeply personal exploration of my journey through belonging, displacement, and the search for happiness. Having left behind my roots—the sea, the landscapes, and the sense of “home”—I now find myself living, working, and raising my son in a land that feels both foreign and familiar.

Through my photographs, I aim to capture the tension between longing and acceptance, weaving together desolate landscapes and tender human moments. My son, a central figure in this narrative, embodies both the future and the connection to this new place.

This project is a reflection on the complexities of identity and the meaning of home. It is my attempt to reconcile the yearning for the past with the realities of the present, and to find beauty and balance in a life shaped by transition and redefinition.
